Wipro Limited (NSE: WIPRO) has launched an Applied AI Center of Excellence for Claude models, powered by Anthropic. The center was inaugurated at the Bengaluru innovation hub and operates under the newly formed AI-Native Business and Platforms Unit.

The CoE integrates Claude model capabilities across the Wipro Intelligence stack, embedding AI into core business workflows across delivery, functional, and industry platforms. Wipro has built a global talent pool of Forward Deployed Engineers trained on Claude models with understanding of model behavior and real-world application. These engineers operate within client environments, combining knowledge of business processes with hands-on model expertise to accelerate AI integration.

The center will develop AI-native platforms and industry solutions across Mortgage, Healthcare, Airlines, Manufacturing, and Consumer sectors. Claude models are embedded into Wipro's platforms to enable co-innovation with clients in live environments. The models are also deployed across Wipro's own Finance, HR, and Sales functions as part of internal transformation.

Wipro plans to certify 10,000 Front-Line Delivery Experts on Claude usage over the next 18 months. The certification program builds a base of practitioners capable of designing, deploying, and operating AI-enabled systems in complex enterprise environments.

Srini Pallia, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro Limited, said the CoE marks a fundamental shift in how Wipro delivers AI. He said combining Claude models with Wipro's domain and enterprise expertise drives measurable business outcomes. Pallia added that embedding Forward Deployed Engineers within client environments and integrating AI across Wipro's operations accelerates enterprise-scale AI adoption.
