Wipro Limited announced on June 23 an expanded partnership with Palo Alto Networks to offer AI-driven Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. The offering combines Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XSIAM platform with Wipro's CyberShieldSM managed security services for modern security operations.
The new service uses machine learning, AI, and automation to predict and protect against future attacks. It aims to enable faster detection and response across complex environments while filtering signals from noise and improving analyst efficiency. The offering is supported by Wipro's WEGA and WINGS AI delivery platforms under the Wipro Intelligence suite.

The MDR services are delivered through Wipro's eight Cyber Defense Centers, anchored by the SOC GURU framework for threat detection and response. The expanded partnership builds on an existing collaboration across cloud, network, and security transformation. This approach was already applied in a recent engagement with a European gaming and entertainment company, where Wipro and Palo Alto Networks helped transform security operations to deliver improved productivity, accelerated response, and reduced costs.
