Dividend, bonus and buyback stocks to watch on May 29: LIC, Bajaj Auto, Colgate among key names

Several companies are set to remain in focus on Friday, May 29, as they trade ex-date for key corporate actions including dividends, bonus issues, buybacks and stock splits.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) will trade ex-bonus for its 1:1 bonus issue, making it one of the key stocks to watch in Friday’s session. Zydus Lifesciences, Cybertech Systems and Dhanuka Agritech will also remain in focus due to their respective buyback announcements.

Among dividend-paying companies, Bajaj Auto has announced a massive dividend of ₹150 per share, while GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals declared a dividend of ₹57 per share. Colgate Palmolive (India) will trade ex-interim dividend of ₹24 per share.

  • S Chand & Company – Interim dividend of ₹4 per share

  • BCPL Railway Infrastructure – Dividend of ₹1 per share

  • Advani Hotels & Resorts – Interim dividend of ₹0.80 per share

Le Merite Exports will also trade ex-split following the subdivision of equity shares from face value of ₹10 each to ₹2 each.

Corporate actions such as dividends, bonus issues, buybacks and stock splits generally impact stock prices on the ex-date as the eligibility for shareholder benefits gets adjusted.
