A number of stocks have recently formed a Golden Cross pattern, a technical signal that occurs when a stock’s 50-day moving average rises above its 200-day moving average. Market participants often view the formation as an indication of strengthening long-term momentum.
Among the notable names appearing on the screen are Wockhardt, Modison, Yasho Industries and Gland Pharma.
Wockhardt was among the prominent stocks on the list, trading around ₹1,894 and remaining nearly 56% above its key moving averages. The stock has been in focus after receiving regulatory approvals for its antibiotic Zaynich in India and the United States.
Modison Ltd was trading near ₹287 and stood approximately 88% above the levels of its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, indicating a strong price trend over recent months.
Yasho Industries also featured on the screen, trading around ₹2,153 and nearly 37% above its long-term moving averages. The specialty chemicals company has seen sustained momentum in recent sessions.
Gland Pharma, trading near ₹2,312, was another stock showing a Golden Cross setup. The stock was around 26% above its key moving average levels.
What is a Golden Cross?
A Golden Cross occurs when a stock’s short-term moving average, typically the 50-day moving average, crosses above its long-term moving average, usually the 200-day moving average.
Technical analysts often consider this pattern a sign that bullish momentum is strengthening and that a longer-term uptrend may be developing. The signal is generally used alongside other indicators such as trading volumes, earnings growth and price action rather than in isolation.

Investors typically monitor whether stocks continue to hold above both moving averages after the crossover, as sustained strength often provides confirmation of the trend.
